“From save-the-world to survive-the-night.” Blue Fox Entertainment has revealed an official trailer for an indie horror thriller titled Wake Up, the latest feature made by the Canadian filmmaker collective known as “RKSS”. These genre filmmakers are also behind the indie horror hits Turbo Kid, Summer of 84, and We Are Zombies before this film – which premiered back in 2023 at the Fantastic Fest and Sitges Film Festivals. It’s finally getting a theatrical release in the US + Canada starting in April this year. In an attempt to draw attention to the environmental crisis, young activists decide to invade and vandalize a furniture store. The protest quickly turns into a massacre when they find themselves trapped inside this place with a hunting-obsessed night guard going after them. Wake Up stars Turlough Convery, Benny O.
