“It’s an opportunity for immortality!” “We have a moral imperative to harvest every last one.” 🦄 A24 has unveiled a second trailer for the wacky comedy Death of a Unicorn, set for release in theaters at the end of March. It will also premiere at SXSW next month and probably bring down the house. Father & daughter duo Riley & Elliot hit a unicorn with their car and bring it to the wilderness retreat of a wealthy pharma CEO. They decide to study and harvest it, of course, only to end up in an even worse situation. It seems this white unicorn was just a baby and the, uh, parents come back to collect it and they definitely are not happy. “As they delve deeper into their research, they discover the deadly consequences of their actions.” Indeed. And – payback is a beast. Death of a Unicorn stars Paul Rudd, Jenna Ortega, Will Poulter, Téa Leoni, and Richard E. Grant as the evil CEO. Great cast! Every last one! The first trailer dropped in December, and with the premiere coming up soon they’ve revealed another.
