“Sometimes family isn’t perfect… that doesn’t mean they aren’t good.” Disney has revealed their first full official trailer for Lilo & Stitch, the 2025 live-action remake of the beloved 2002 animated classic. Finally some real footage from this movie! After two fun teasers last year and a Super Bowl spot. This new version looks like an exact copy of the original with all the same characters, about a young girl and her blue alien friend on Hawaii. Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, the Oscar-nominated filmmaker from the lovely film Marcel the Shell with Shoes On. Co-director of the original Chris Sanders also returns to voice Stitch. Also with Sydney Elizebeth Agudong as Nani, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, with Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifianakis, introducing Maia Kealoha as Lilo. This is one of the first Disney live-action remakes of this era that I am actually excited about.
