“We’re meant to strive to achieve. Maybe I can make a difference to one kid.” Briarcliff Entertainment has debuted an official trailer for Sneaks, an animated movie featuring anthropomorphic shoes. It’s kind of like Cars but with a universe Shoes instead. When a designer sneaker unwittingly finds himself lost in New York City, he must dig deep into his sole in order to rescue his sister and return to his rightful owner. Finally set for release in theaters this April – check out the official trailer below. Sneaks follows the adventures of Ty, a misguided designer sneaker who doesn’t know life outside the comforts of his velvet-lined shoe box. After his sister is stolen by a shady collector, Ty must venture into NYC to find and rescue her. In his adventure, Ty meets a rag-tag group of footwear friends from all walks of life who help him find the courage to step outside the shoe box and find his “sole-mate.” (Ha ha…) The voice cast features Anthony Mackie, Martin Lawrence, Swae Lee, Chloe Bailey, Macy Gray, Roddy Rich, Ella Mai, Quavo, Mustard, Young Miko, with Keith David, Chris Paul, and Laurence Fishburne.
