“Just try to enjoy the movie…” Alamo Drafthouse has debuted a very funny PSA video featuring comedian / writer / filmmaker Kyle Mooney talking about watching movies. Mooney directed the upcoming comedy Y2K (watch the trailer), being released by A24 in theaters this month. As part of a promo for Y2K and also to create a fun PSA, Mooney has recorded a two minute video for Alamo Drafthouse reminding audiences: don’t talk, don’t text. Yes, movie theater etiquette is as its all-time worst and even though this video may not stop people from being problematic, at least it’s a reminder that the Drafthouse cares. And they will kick you out for talking or texting. So – just don’t do it. Simple as that. Listen to Kyle! Get a hard milkshake and relax and watch the movie.
