“For La Mancha!!” Dazzler Media in the UK has debuted their official trailer for an animated movie called Giants of La Mancha, made by Argentinian VFX artist Gonzalo Gutierrez as his feature directorial debut. This was already released last year also under the titles Gigantes and/or Storm Crashers, but La Mancha provides a better hook. This trailer is for the UK release but since we never posted anything last year for the US release, why not catch up with it now. The story follows 11-year-old Alfonso, heir to Don Quixote, and his three imaginary rabbits, who are also joined by Pancho and Victoria. With their power of friendship, they save their beloved hometown La Mancha from a huge storm. They dream the impossible dream, overcome their fears, and use their imagination to find the real force behind the storm. So this is a mash-up between Don Quixote and Twisters? 🌪 Wild. Featuring the voices of Facundo Reyes, Marina Blanke, & Julian Janssen. This looks like a really bad direct-to-VHS movie, but that’s also what makes it so ridiculously fun. Wait – why is there a giant mechanical spider in this? Did they borrow this from Wild Wild West? Hilarious. // Continue Reading ›
